Our stay in the Split area also included exploring the Old Towns of Split and Trogir and a full-day boat trip.
Birthdays are always special – and even more so if you like Niklas are turning nine years-old and celebrating away from home for the first time!
16 lakes, more than 90 waterfalls and a myriad of hiking trails. Plitvice Lakes National Park is one of Croatia’s highlights and was of course also on our bucket list.
Our first stop on the Adriatic Coast was Kvarner Bay and the Istria peninsula, known for their beautiful and diverse nature, mountain ranges, beaches and everything in between.
Following our hiking trips in Austria, we were ready to set course for a new country – this time Croatia and the first stop was Zagreb.
