We are Nina (41), Michael (42), Niklas (8) and Frederik (5). A Danish/German family based in Copenhagen, Denmark where we until recently lived busy lives with exciting and challenging jobs, school, kindergarten, free-time activities and everything else everyday life has to offer. We have always loved to explore the world and have lived, studied and travelled in many countries and on many continents in the past.
In summer 2021, we decided to take a time-out from our everyday lives and pursue a long-time dream we have as a family: taking a sabbatical to spend quality time together while the kids are still young and travel the world! So we quit our jobs, rented out our apartment and packed our bags – adventure here we come😊
