The busy streets of Cairo and the temples and pyramids of the old Pharaohs. Egypt was the last stop on our tour of the Middle East and quite an experience.
Surfing down sand dunes in the endless Wahiba Sand desert, hiking the narrow trails of the green mountain, Jebel Akhdar, and taking in the atmosphere in Niswa.
Dolphins, coral fish and a 17km long fjord surrounded by mountains – those were just a few of the things we saw on our first stop in Oman; the Musandam peninsula.
Louvre, Guggenheim, Ferrari World – these were just a few of the attractions we came across when touring Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
Homeschooling, beaches, playgrounds and sightseeing. Staying longer in one location, we have shifted down a gear and enjoy more of an everyday life in Dubai.
After our European road trip, the next leg of our travels was set for South Africa. But in times of COVID-19, plans can change with very little notice.
Our stay in the Split area also included exploring the Old Towns of Split and Trogir and a full-day boat trip.
